On Socialist Market Economy and Modernization of Rural Social Governance——Also on the Innovation of Mode of Agricultural Operation

村民自治是社会主义市场经济条件下改革和完善农村社会治理的根本途径。当前,实现村民自治的主要难题在于广大农民尚缺乏主体精神和民主意识。社会主义市场经济是培养主体精神的经济基础,通过综合农协发展农村的社会主义市场经济是培养农民民主意识的基本途径。

Under the socialist market economy, villager autonomy is fundamental in reforming and improving the rural social governance. At present, the main factors restraining the realization of villager autonomy is that the majority of farmers are still lack of awareness of the subject and the spirit of democracy. Socialist market e- conomy is economic base cultivating the spirit of the subject. Integrating agricultural association and developing socialist market economy in rural areas are basic for training farmers democratic consciousness.
