本文指出《庞德研究》从文学、历史事实中探求诗歌的美学形式与文化意蕴,又通过诗学视域的文本考证,追溯诗歌的文学、文化背景,意在钩沉诗歌语言的文学精神和诗歌意象中厚重的历史喟叹。究其学术方法,是当今学界"诗笔"与"史笔"相得益彰的新的治学途径,其意义在于展示了庞德诗歌历史与意象的统一、史料与诗学的互现。

This paper attempts to indicate that The Study of Ezra Pound has recalled the literary spirits and historical colors in Pound's poetry by investigating the aesthetic forms,cultural implications and social backgrounds.This book has adopted a newly established method which can be called a perfect fusion of poetic and historical way.It's a significant method to achieve a unity of historical elements and poetic images.In such a way a mutual interpretation of different materials has been achieved historically and poetically.
