摘要
孟兆祯院士是文人造园的传承者、传统技艺的承袭者、理论与实践的捍卫者,更是中国新园林的创新者。孟先生精于辩证思维,发扬光大"中和"、"中庸"为原则的中国园林美学及其思维范式,具体反映在孟先生的园林中具有以下特征:科学与艺术圆融的景园观、景象与意境共生的认知论、因借与体宜的方法论、物我与无我的审美观。
Academician MENG Zhao-zhen is not only the successor of scholar garden and traditional skils, the defender of theory and practice, but also an innovator of new landscape. Professor MENG, specializing in dialectical thinking, flourishes ＂Neutralize＂, ＂moderate＂ as principle of Chinese landscape aesthetics and thinking paradigm, which can be summarized as view of landscape as the combination of science and art, cognitive theory as harmonious coexistence of scene and artistic conception, methodology as borrowing and applicability and aesthetics as things-persons relationship and anatta.
