When We Run Out of Fools

When attending the Yabuli China Entrepreneurs Forum in late August, Yang Yuanqing, the CEO of Legend Group, expressed his opinion on the business integrity of enterprises in the era of Internet.He was not simply playing the same old tune.In effect, as Mr. Yang said,the issue of the business integrity is becoming more critical and vital than ever before as the Internet economy grows rapidly.Some companies may use the fans' craze and non-rationality to spread false information of their products and raise the prices. Many start-ups conceal the facts when striving for investments,These are all challenging business environment of this country. The numbers of lying enterprises keep rising. But the amount of fools will not always increase at the same rate. Once the liars become more than the so-called 'brain-impaired', the whole society's transaction cost will be elevated to an unreasonable height. To avoid this, we will need a more impartial market, and especially, more reasonable consumers who have no tolerance to the fraud.
