农村“天价娶妻”现象解读——基于冀南H村的田野调查

Analysis of the‘High Price to Get a Wife'Phenomenon in Rural Areas

由于农村适婚青年男多女少的结构性失衡,导致"天价娶妻"现象在多地农村频发。对冀南农村的实证调查发现:农村富裕家庭和儿子自身条件不足的家庭率先推出婚姻支付的"体面标准",是婚姻支付暴涨的源头;媒人职业化、消费主义文化在农村婚嫁实践中的渗透,是婚姻支付暴涨的助推力;女方家庭的居奇心理、攀比心理、转嫁心理,是婚姻支付暴涨的强心剂。"天价娶妻"与社会主义新农村建设所要求的"乡风文明"背道而驰,各地政府特别是农村管理机构应当对此进行引导。

Because there is structural imbalance among marriageable men and women in rural areas, the cases of“High Price to Get a Wife”have taken place in many villages frequently. This paper discusses its mechanism （marriage payments soaring） on the basis of empirical study. Wealthy rural families and families lacking sons launching “standards of decency”in marriage payments are the source of marriage payments soaring. The infiltration of the matchmaker vocation and the culture of consumerism in rural marriage practice trend promote the marriage payment. Comparison between women’s families and shifting psychology boost the soaring payment. Such phenomenon totally ran counter to the good customs and civilization the policy of building a socialist countryside advocates. The governments at various levels as well as management institutions of villages should play a role in giving correct guidance.
