Editing is a central link in the publication industry. The importance of editors was expounded from the per- spectives of solicitation, examination, proofreading, and editing processing as well as authors and readers. The qualities that editors should possess were introduced. In the end, it is proposed that editors should keep learning to improve their cultural literacy to deliver excellent productions to the public.
