Standardized classification of exterior syndromes: an integration of syndrome differentiation methods for cold and febrile diseases: Clinical application

文章从中医临床辨证论治的要求出发,在上篇对现行的表证概念进行修正与重新界定、中篇对《伤寒论》《金匮要略》与《温病条辨》丰富表证证治内容进行系统标定与列举的基础上,进一步例举亲身经治的15例有效病案(病种涉及低烧、痹证、头痛、鼻渊、鼻衄、紫癜、湿疹、咳嗽、耳疾、眩晕等),对六经表证的广泛性加以实践印证,具体彰显了运用和发挥这种大表证理论对于有效指导临床杂病的辨证论治具有实用价值。

The classification study of exterior syndromes is made up of three parts. The underlying idea of this study is that diagnosis and treatment should be based on an overall analysis of exterior syndromes. In Part 1, the study gave new definitions to exterior syndromes as from the previous perceptions. In Part 2, the study listed and classified the various exterior syndromes in the TCM Classics including Treatise on Febrile Diseases and Miscellaneous Diseases, Synopsis of Prescriptions of the Golden Chamber and Differentiation and Treatment of Epidemic Febrile Diseases. In Part 3, the study exemplified how theories in diagnosing exterior syndromes related to the six channels were effectively applied in 15 clinical cases （cases that varied from arthralgia, headache, fever, rhinorrhea, epistaxis, purpura, eczema to ear diseases, cough and dizziness etc.）. That is to prove the extensive application of the theories in medical treatment and its significance in guiding the practise of syndrome differentiation of miscellaneous diseases.
