临潼零口遗址新石器时代“圆陶片”的功用浅析

Research on the Functions of Yuantaopian(Round Shard) in the Neolithic Period from the Lingkou Village in Lintong

通过对临潼零口村遗址出土的新石器时代"圆陶片"的分析,结合以前对这种"圆陶片"的研究,从"圆陶片"可能为收割用生产工具、玩具、计数工具等三个方面进行了相关阐述,认为这种先前不为学术界所重视的小件陶器可能有多种用途,而不是简单地作为一种用途存在。

This article aims to analyze the functions of yuantaopian （ round pottery shards） excavated the Neolithic Lingkou village in Lintong. By synthesizing previous research on the round pottery shards, the author discusses the potential functions of this type of artifact as harvesting tools, toys, and counting tools. The author suggests, even though study on these round pottery shards has not received much attention in scholarship, this type of artifacts might have multiple functions instead of serving one single purpose.
