地方性高校英语应用型人才培养探析——以湘南学院大学生英语学习情况的调查为例

Exploration on the Cultivation of Applied English Talent in Local Colleges and Universities: A Case Study of Xiangnan University Students' English Learning Situation Survey

从对湘南学院非英语专业大学生英语学习情况的调查可知,要适应学校的转型发展,大学英语教学只有围绕培养应用型人才来开展。教师应该重视培养学生学以致用的意识;教学内容上增加实用英语方面的知识,同时积极帮助学生寻找创新实践平台,培养学生运用知识的能力;教学方法上可以充分利用多媒体、开展空间教学,培养学生的综合能力。

The investigation and analysis of English learning towards non-English major students of Xiangnan U-niversity shows that：to adapt to the transformation of the development of the school, University English teaching can only focus on training applied talents;teachers should pay more attention to the awareness of training students learning in order to practice, increase the practical knowledge of English, and actively help students find innovative practice platform to cultivate their ability to apply knowledge;in teaching method teachers can make full use of multimedia and the space of teaching to cultivate students’comprehensive ability.
