Causes for the Higher Vocational College Students' Lack of Cultural Literacy

我国高等教育的根本目的,是培养人格完善的科学人才。当前,高职高专学生文化素养普遍较低,这不仅与我国现行教育体制及高职高专学校对培养目标认识片面化有关,而且与当前师资管理方式及队伍的参差不齐、当前社会环境的一些负面因素及高职高专学生群体的特殊性有很大关系。

The fundamental purpose of higher education in China is to cultivate talents with sophisticated personality. Nowadays, vocational college students＇ cultural literacy is generally low. This is related with the current one-sided educational system, the uneven level of the teaching faculty, the current negative social elements and the particularity of the higher vocational college students
