This paper analysis the installing of the mechanical sounding Rod on the COREX reducation shaft： （ 1 ） The sizes of the mechanical sounding rod; （2） The work environment of the mechanical sounding rod; （3） the installing posi- tion of the mechanical sounding rod on the COREX reduction shaft roof. Through the analysis of mechanical sounding rod on Bayi 2500m3 BF installing the mechanical sounding rod on the COREX reduction shaft is completely feasible.
