With the diversification of people＆#39;s lifestyles, public social groups have grown more identity and tolerance for differ-ences.Individual citizens＆#39;need for non-interference of private space , respect for inner peace is increasing .Thus, privacy and priva-cy rights become a topic of concern .However, the effect of the news media based on the right to freedom of the press plays a more and more important role in the social life , which is a major access to public information .Role of the press the media might be greatly reduced in a society with no freedom of speech .Meanwhile , any unregulated rights have the tendency of alienation , and freedom of the press is no exception .If abused , it may cause harm to the public interest and the legitimate interests of others .Freedom of the press is an important value to safeguard the public interest and privacy emphasizes individual rights , and therefore the exercise of these two rights in the process will inevitably produce contradictions and conflicts .So, to find a good game on the two meeting points so as to bring media into full play in modern society and protect personal privacy , has become a top priority of the legislative and ju-dicial.
