山西太谷县原铭贤学校近代建筑考辨

A Historical Survey of Ming Hsien School in Taigu, Shanxi

铭贤学校（今山西农业大学）位于山西省太谷县，是孔祥熙创办的一所教会中学。自1907年至1937年，铭贤校园融合原孟家花园旧有建筑、新建多幢设备齐全的西式校舍，成为全晋闻名的模范学校。墨菲也曾受邀为铭贤学校做规划和建筑设计。本文以民国时期的期刊杂志及欧柏林学院档案为基础，结合实地调研，考察铭贤学校在1909~1937年间的校园建设，确定其规划的发展过程，通过各种文献的比较研究校订之前研究中的一些讹误。

Established by Kong Xiangxi （Kung Hsiang Hsi） in 1907, Oberlin-Shansi School （or ming Hsien School, present-day Shanxi Agricultural University） was a missionary middle school located in Taigu County in Shanxi Province. The school underwent consistent development during the period of 1907-1937 with magnificent buildings on campus, and became one of the most famous schools in Shanxi. Henry murphy was invited to produce campus designs with revisions for ming Hsien. based on periodicals and magazines on ming Hsien in the Republic as wel as field investigation, this paper examines the development of ming Hsien＇s campus plans and some of its key buildings. by comparing different types of materials, it also corrects some of misunderstandings in literature.
