Post Occupancy Evaluation （POE） and People- environment Studies were historically, institutionally and discursively constructed in the 1960-70s, They deal with architectural evaluation issues from theoretical and methodological perspectives and are considered to be progressive starting points by this paper. In conclusion, the concept of discursive space is reviewed and recommended as a model for architectural criticism and the writing of architectural history.
