结合对夏昌世1951年设计的华南土特产展览交流大会水产迣的评论,文章讨论了人类学的民族志、案例研究等方法对建筑评论的可能启迪:从边角料切入,通过风筝建立阅读和分析的语境,以深读和深描进行间义的层层揭示,从而对所研究的建筑或者建筑现象进行批判性的阐释。文章还讨论了人类学研究与建筑评论之间在特点上的一些不同之处。
The article combines interpretations of the Aquaculture Production Pavilion designed by Hsia Changshi in 1951. It discusses the possible inspiration architectural criticism can get from anthropological methods such as ethnography and case studies. Starting with offcuts, building up historic and cultural contexts using kites, discovering inner meanings via deep reading and thick description- that's a new approach to critical interpretation of architecture phenomenon. The differences between anthropology research and architectural criticism are also discussed.
