摘要
库切的自传体小说《夏日》采用了新奇的表达方式:将自我揉碎在多个人物的视域内加以评价,从而展现出多个侧面的自我主体形象。这样的写作方式是和作者的自传观相吻合的,是对传统自传观的解构与重建。借助于各个受访者独立视角的描述,虽有虚构的成分在其中,但却是力求达到真实的目的。从某种意义上而言,该作品如同一部多声部的陈述,最后形成作家库切对于自我的多元剖析及认识。
In his autobiographical novel Summertime, Coetzee takes a new way of expression:he put him-self shattered into the stories of different people so as to explore the many sides of himself through the debris of their evaluation. This way of writing is consistent with Coetzee’s creation concept of autobiography, and it is the deconstruction and reconstruction of the traditional theory of autobiography. Though there is fiction in con-tents, the readers can get some facts about the author under narration of the interviewees. In a sense, this work is like a multi-voice statement, which finally forms the writer Coetzee’s multivariate analysis and the under-standing of himself.
