The leakage loss greater than the evaporation loss in the loss of irrigation water. This article applied the constru-ction means to reduce the irrigation channel leakage loss in practical engineering, and discusses the construction method of channel diversion at the same time. The leakage losses change as the channel shape, permeability coefficient, underground w-ater level, etc; in order to prevent the effective leakage loss of channel lining.
