With the development of city, the unique ecosystem structure and service function of riparian zone is playing an increasingly important role. This article summarizes and disc-usses the concept of riparian zone are, and carries on the ana-lysis of riparian zone in Chinese development, from the per-spective of discipline to classify and summary the study of riparian zone, and final y summarizes the study trends in the zone.
