Crape myrtle belongs to Loosestrife family ..As an important tree species in urban and rural green-ing ,crape myrtle is suitable to be planted in the garden ,along the roadside or beside the river bank regardless of isolating planting or mixed planting Its twisted tree appearances and technicolored flowers are pleasant and attractive .In this article ,through twelve years＇cultivation and management practice ,the author summari-zes some techniques of crape myrtle tree＇s seedling ,pruning and pest control .
