T here are various technical methods and forecast models for ambient air assessment ,but their re-quired applied comditions are different .As a kind of forecast model ,CALPUFF model shows its superiority in complex topography forecast .In the article ,CALPUFF model forecasted the impact that the complex to-pography area of a project in Guizhou had on ambient air ,w hich got a better result and provided a scientific basis for local environmental management .
