Scientific research for undergraduates is of great significance to university personnel training and undergraduates＇ own development. In this paper, the author analyzed the status of local comprehensive universities to find out the development orientation of scientific research for undergraduates in local comprehensive universities, providing references for the organization of scientific research activities for undergraduates.
