Mathematics is a compulsory course in junior high school education, as it can improve students＇ logical thinking and enhance their ability to solve problems. In the teaching process, there are a lot of problems for students, so it is a challenging subject for some students. This paper introduced a new mathematics teaching modeldiagnostic teaching, and made a detailed elaboration on methods, measures and effects of the model.
