Political families are the dominant force in the politics of the Philippines and what they rely on is their strong economic foundations. In the Philippines, the economic interests of political families originally came from those businesses based on agriculture and now stretch to other businesses, so the influences of political families can be found in almost all walks of life. In turn, political families own far more wealth than ordinary families own and most of political elites are at top by virtue of the wealth of their families, so the politics of the Philippines has significantly rich feature.
