摘要
小乘佛教传入泰国已有700多年的历史,佛教文化是泰国的主流文化。泰国谚语作为泰国主流文化世俗化的体现,承载了厚重的佛教文化思想精髓。泰国诸多蕴含了佛教因果业报思想的谚语,通过一代又一代泰国民众的传承,对泰国人民的思想观念、道德追求、行为方式和人格塑造均产生了巨大而深远的影响。
Theravada Buddhism in Thailand has 700 years of history, Buddhism culture is the mainstream culture of Thailand. Thailand proverb as the embodiment of Thailand mainstream culture is a reflection of secularization has carrying a very heavy Buddhist culture essence. There are many proverbs in Thailand contain Buddhist Karma, and been inherited by generations of Thailand people, which has a profound impact to the people＇ s ideas, moral pursuit, behavior, and personality in Thailand.
