教师是办好开放教育的关键,庞大的基础层教师的专业发展尤其值得关注。通过开展深入细致的调查研究,探索得出粤西地区开放大学教师专业发展的策略:自觉持续学习是关键;教学与科研是有效途径;积极培训是重要手段;科学合理的教师管理运行机制是保证;对教师的人文关怀是重要基础。

The teachers are the key to the good education, basic level teachers＇ professional development is particularly worthy of attention. Through the investigation and study, this paper carries out in-depth and detailed exploration of Open University, and pro- posed the professional development strategies of teachers in western Guangdong are as follow： consciousness of continuous learning, teaching and research, positive training scientific and reasonable operating mechanism, humanistic care for teachers.
