The overlapping adjectives in Yueyang dialect are diverse and complex, and full of local characteristics. The paper mainly discusses its configuration features and syntactic functions, and discusses two basic types----＆quot;AB＆quot;and＆quot;BA＆quot;. When＆quot;A＆quot;and＆quot;B＆quot;is combined, the bases of＆quot;AB＆quot;and＆quot;BA＆quot;are different in configuration, meaning and syntactic functions and their overlapping adjectives also have their special characteristics in configuration and syntactic functions.
