民国佛教的临终关怀团体研究

On Buddhist Hospice Care Groups of the Republic of China

民国佛教的临终关怀团体主要分布在南方地区,其成员组成和服务对象较为广泛,活动经费主要来自于成员的分摊。这些团体的临终助念活动都有一套相对固定的程序。为了保证临终关怀的效果,这些团体对其成员进行较为严格的管理,并对临终病人的家属提出了明确的要求。对这些团体的研究,一方面有利于了解民国佛教慈善公益事业的状况,另一方面也能为当代佛教慈善公益事业的发展提供借鉴。

With a wide range of members and service objects, the Buddhist hospice care groups of the Republic of China were mainly distributed in the south,whose activity funds mainly stemmed from the share of the members. There was a relatively fixed process in the activities of the ju - nien （ the traditional way of Buddhist hospice） of these groups. For the effect of hospice care ,the members of these groups were strictly managed and specific requirements were made on the dying patients＇ families. Research on these groups, on the one hand,is conducive to understanding the present situation of Buddhist charity cause;on the other hand,it can also provide reference for the development of contemporary Buddhist charity and public welfare.
