On the Study of Folk Customs Made by Southwest Associated University

在滇8年,联大的师生结合云南独特的地理环境和丰富的少数民族文化资源,从多学科、多学派的研究视角出发,对少数民族民俗进行深入细致的调查研究,取得了令人瞩目的成绩。他们用西方的理论方法与田野作业相结合的研究方式,极大地推动了中国民俗学学科的构建和完善,为研究少数民族民俗学做了开拓性的工作。

Eight years after Southwest Associated University is transferred to Yunnan, the teachers and students carried out meticulous researches into ethnic minorities＇ folk customs from multi-disciplinary and multi-school perspectives by making good use of the unique geographical environment and rich ethnic cultural resources in the province. Their achievements were remarkable. The research approaches they adopted were a combination of western theories and field work. With their pioneering endeavors and contributions, China＇s folk custom＇s studies had been established and perfected.
