论客家谱牒文化的保存与活化

客家人强烈的保守情怀,以及念旧、不忘本、崇祖敬宗、缅怀先人的特质,表现在谱牒的编修之上。族谱是一氏一族的世系和血缘关系之纪录,是不同时期、不同民系的先人所遗留的文献史料与历史纪录。客家人注重族谱之编修,族谱是传统的历史文献及珍贵的地方文献,蕴藏着丰富的人物与地方史料,是客家民系各姓氏之渊源、家族历史的记载体裁。"族谱"是一种以表谱型式记载一个以血缘关系为主体之家族世系繁衍及重要人物事迹的特殊图书形态。对于客家人来说,族谱承载着个人的根,是个人安身立命之本。客家族谱是客家文化悠久历史的重要组成部分,编修族谱是客家人优良文化传统,一部体例完整的客家谱牒,保存了丰富的客家文化材料,值得加以活化保存。在今天信息数字化时代,族谱数据(Genealogical Database)的建立,进行族谱文献数字化,不仅可以寻根溯祖,亦可以让族谱文献达到充分利用与资源共享的目的。
