“山中瑶草今人识,洞里桃花更盛开。”火热的七月,我们驱车百余公里来到宁海长街,与伍山海滨石窟进行了一次近距离的接触。
伍山石窟位于宁海县长街镇境内,洞内野生花树藤萝援壁凌空,风姿各异。
Wushan Grottoes are located in Changjie Town, Ninghai County. There are more than 800 grottoes with various shapes. Wushan Grottoes are the most well-preserved relics of ancient quarry mining, from which we may clearly tell the drainage tray, soft bridge, hard bridge, stone beam and so forth. According to local chronicles, Wushan Grottoes were started to be excavated in Sui and Tang Dynasties, and reached a large business scale in Song Dynasty. It dates back to 1400 years ago.
