刘贵颖教授认为"风、痰、瘀"是哮喘发作的主要病机。发作期当审证求因,以"疏风通络"为核心治则。缓解期虽无证可辨,但体内伏邪是哮喘反复发作,逐渐恶化的内在动因,应注重驱除伏邪,截断哮根。临证用药轻灵,动静结合,兼顾中焦,重视内病外治。

Professor LIU Guiying considers that ＂wind, phlegm, blood stasis＂ are the core pathogenesis of asthma. For the attack stage, determining the cause based on syndrome differentiation and establishing ＂dispersing wind and dredging collaterals＂ as main method. During remission phase, the insidious pathogen is the important factor for the recurrence and aggravation of asthma. He emphasizes on expelling the insidious pathogen, truncates the source of asthma. In clinical treatment, he requires drug light spirit and combination with static and dynamic, takes middle-jiao into account, pays attention to external treatment.
