论古音研究的动因

The Motivation of Ancient Chinese Phonology Study

古音研究有着悠久的历史,每一时期的古音研究都是在前期古音研究的基础上发展起来的,它既有对前期的继承,又有本时期新的发展,这种传承在研究动因上表现得尤为突出。通过对古音研究历史的梳理可以发现,古音研究的动因主要有四种:为读经而研究;为写诗作赋而研究;专业的为研究而研究;专业的为实用而研究。

There is a long history of ancient Chinese phonology study. The ancient Chinese phonology study in different periods of time built on the basis of development in the early stage, both inheritance and development. By searching for the development of ancient Chinese phonology study we can find that there are four motivations of the study： Confucian classics,writing poetry; professional research, professional and practical research.
