2014-07-21,中国互联网络信息中心(CNNIC)在京发布的第34次《中国互联网络发展状况统计报告》显示,截至2014-06,中国网民规模达6.32亿,较2013年底增加了1 442万人,互联网普及率为46.9%.互联网的发展和普及给传统保险业带来了渠道、产品、服务和监管方面的新机遇。数据显示,去年仅在信息化的直接投入上,我国保险行业就支出了62亿元,较上年增幅达20%,有接近4/5的保险公司设立了信息化工作委员会。目前,全行业皆已达成共识——只有加快利用互联网在业务发展中应用的节奏,抓住此次难得的改革机会,才有可能在竞争趋于白热化的保险市场中占有一席之地。

Development and popularization of the Internet to the traditional insurance industry has brought new opportunities channels, products, services, and regulatory aspects. Data show that last year the insurance company only on direct investment in information technology, China’s insurance industry is spending 62 billion Yuan, an increase of 20 percent compared with last year, nearly four-fifths of the establishment of the Information Technology Committee. Currently, the whole industry have switched consensus-only to accelerate the rhythm of Internet use in business applications development, seize this rare opportunity to reform it possible to place in the competition heating up in the insurance market.
