Aristocracy represents different images in Matthew Arnold＆#39;s prose works . They are fogies with their ever glory , adhering to the old habits and being out of reality .They lack thought just like an empty shell with its flashy appearance ,focusing only on external temperament ,addicting themselves to the old and beautiful things ,not planning for the future .They are barbarians without reason ,deviating from culture and lacking light of reason ,focusing merely on ordinary self instead of best self .
