摘要
进入到21世纪之后,美国高等教育网络课程经历了快速发展的过程,呈现日益蓬勃的趋势。推动其发展的原因包括日新月异的网络技术、教育理论与科技的结合和发展、社会经济环境的影响以及政府和各级教育部门的大力支持。美国高校网络对我国的高等教育的发展提供了借鉴并有所启示,首先,网络课程具有巨大的发展潜力,可以促进教育公平性和广泛性。但是,其发展中也存在着社会、文化、教育、法律等问题需要解决。
During the first decade of the 21st century, the on-line education in the American universities has seen rapid development. The reasons that support its development include the development of computer technology, the integration of educational theories and technology, the social and economic environment and the governmental and state supports. The flourishing on-line education in US bears such implications as: firstly, the on-line courses in higher education have great potential in promoting the just and the general higher education; secondly, during its development we should try to overcome social, cultural, educational and legal problems, etc..
