我国图书馆和科技情报机构的发展方向

THE ORIENTATION OF THE DEVELOPMENT OF LIBRARIES AND SCIENTIFIC AND TECHNICAL INFORMATION INSTITUTIONS OF CHINA

文中探讨了图书馆服务、情报服务和情报调研的基本概念。作者认为，它们是三类不同性质的工作，包含不同工作的内容，具有不同的工作方式。文章指出了在处理三种机构之间关系上存在的一些问题，并对我国今后图书馆和情报机构的发展方向提出了几点建议。

The basic concepts of library service, information service, and information analysis and synthesis are discussed in this paper The author regards them as three facets of work of a different nature each involving a different content with a different mode of work. Some problems that exist in handling the relationships among these three kinds of institutions are pointed out, and some proposals regarding the orientation of the development of libraries and information institutions in our country in future are suggested.
