ON TIMELINESS OF CHINA’S MEDICAL INFORMATION PUBLICATION FROM FINDINGS IN FORELGN MEDICINE

作者对1979——1981年《国外医学》的作用、地位和时差进行了调查和评价，指出科技文献由时差造成的损失是严重的，务必引起注意。文中还介绍了K时差系数法的应用实例。

The author makes an investigation and appraisal of the role, position and time lag as found in the journal Foreign Medicine reviewed from 1979 to 1981 inclusive. He points out that the loss inflicted to sei-tech documents due to time lag is serious and that due attention should be paid to time-liness. Practical examples of the Kt1 coefficient method of redress are given.
