网络环境下的情报检索系统设计初探

The paper deals briefly the basic concepts of the research topic on the intormation retrieval network for colleges and universities in the Shanghai area, and raises some of the technical problems that might be met in designing such a system in network environments as well as the measures to be taken. It describes specifically the process for the retrieval of the distributed document data-base in network environments. Problems like how to build up the data-base, to unify the retrieval command set and to do research and development of retrieval sottware are also discussed.
