微型机汉字检索系统的设计

SOME CONSIDERATIONS ON MICROCOMPUTER-BASED RETRIEVAL SYSTEM WITH CHINESE LANGUAGE DISPLAY

文章介绍了利用ZD-2000微型中文计算机进行中文文献检索管理系统的流程，并根据微型机性能价格比高，使用方便，灵活及内、外存容量小，响应速度慢等特点，针对在中文文献的索引刊物的编辑及检索过程中所遇到的问题进行了讨论。同时，介绍了在系统设计过程中，为了合理地利用存贮空间和尽可能获得较快的响应速度，在数据存贮、文件的组织和处理方式等方面考虑问题的方法及一些具体处理过程。说明在图书情报部门推广使用微型计算机，必须设法弥补它在存贮容量小和响应速度慢等方面的不足，才能扬长避短，做到投资少，见效快。

This article introduces a flow process of the management system for retrieving technical papers with Chinese language display worked out by using the home-made microcomputer ZD-2000 which features in high performance/ price ratio, easy use, and flexibility, though handicapped in storage capacity and slow response. The problem.s encountered in editing and retrieving abstracts are discussed, and some considerations on data storage, document organization and processing mode are introduced to effect a rational useofstorage capacity and a/quick response. The paper concludes that in usingmicroco- mputers in libraries, such setbacks response time must be overcome so as insutficient storage capacity and slow that its use is of advantage economically.
