加速建立我国的科技文献检索刊物体系

ACCELERATE THE SET-UP OF A SYSTEM OF RETRIEVAL PUBLICATIONS FOR SCIENTIFIC AND TECHNICAL DOCUMENTS IN CHINA

本文介绍了我国科技文献检索刊物的沿革与现状，提出目前存在的主要问题和解决办法。文中强调建立健全科技文献检索刊物体系是我国科技情报事业发展中的重要课题。检索刊物体系的形成不仅为手工检索提供了常规工具，同时也为电子计算机检索创造了必要的条件。文章还就检索刊物的质量进行了探讨。作者认为，检索刊物体系的建设包括检索刊物的数量与质量的建设。

This paper gives an introduction of the evolution and the present state of atfairs el retrieval publications for sci-tech documents in China while posing the maior problems existing today and the methods for their solution. It stresses the fact that the setting-up of a healthy system of retrieval publications tot sei-teeh documents is an important topic in developing the cause ot intormation in our country. The coming into being of a system of retrieval publications not only provides a regular tool for manual retrieval, but also creates the necessary condition for computerized work. The quality of retri- eval publications is then discussed. The author is of the conviction that the construction of such a system ought to embody both quantity and quality.
