摘要
作者在介绍信息化社会的技术标志后提出，科技情报工作必须适应信息化社会的需要。文章指出，信息工作的重要组成部分一科技情报工作，正在发生重大变化。这些变化涉及情报工作的重要性、情报工作的新模式、情报工作面临的挑战，以及如何加强科技情报工作等问题。
After making an introduction of the technological symbol of information society, the author suggets that sci-tech information services should be adapted to the needs of such a society. The paper points out that in the sphere of sci-tech information services-- an important component of information society as a large system--some tremendous changes are taking place. These changes involve such problems as the importance of information services and. its new mode of work, the challenge it is facing as well as how to strengthen sci-tech information services.
