机控主题词表的编制和标引工作实践

COMPILATION OF MACHINE-CONTROLLED SUBJECT WORD LIST AND PRACTICE IN INDEXING

作者叙述了在建立ALMIS多文种情报检索系统中，机控造船工艺主题词表的编制过程和建立中文数据库中主题标引工作的实践与体会。该专业数据库已存贮两万三千余条中文题录文献，其主题词表已进入了计算机。词表的每个记录具有用、代、属、分、参、缩写码和西文主题词等数据项，是目前我国中文情报检索与中文数据库中编制机控主题词表的一次大胆探索。该系统是建立在WANG--VS100计算机上的。

A description of the process of compiling the machine-controlled subject word list tot shipbuilding technology in building the ALMIS multi-language information retrieval system is made in this paper, and an account of the practice in and understanding ot the work of subject indexing in establishing the database in Chinese is given. This specialised database has stored, more than 23,000 references of documents in Chinese whose subject word list has been fed into the computer. Every record of the word list possesses such data items as usage, substitution, attribution, division, reference, abbreviation code and subiect words in western languages, It represents a very courageous attempt in compiling a machine-controlled subject word list in a Chinese database tor use in information retrieval in Chinese at present. The system is built on the WANG-VS 100 computer.
