DEVELOPING COMPUTERISED INFORMATION RETRIEVAL IN CHINA AND ITS PROBLEMS

作者通过对近年来学术交流活动的回顾，介绍了我国计算机情报检索的发展现状。作者综述了在信息化时代的背景下情报检索在学科范围、处理对象、应用领域、事业规模等方面发生的重大变化和国外发展动向，井结合我国的具体条件和需要，指出发展我国情报检索需要符雨解决的十个方面的课题。

The paper presents the status of the development of computerised infor mation retrieval in China by making a review of academic exchange activities done in recent years. The significant changes information retrieval has undergone in the age of information in such aspects as the coverage of disciplines, the fields oi application, the kinds of information processed and the scale ot production as well as the trends of development abroad are outlined. The author stresses the need to solve some urgent problems in developing computerised information retrieval further in our country.
