摘要
作者用数理统计方法对《情报学报》所附引文进行了统计计算，定量地表征了该刊引文量、文种、类型及年代的分布；计算了《情报学报》引文母体数学期望与极差的估计区间；用x2检验证明了该刊引文的正态分布规律；描述了情报科学引文在文献类型分布上的集中性及学科分布上的离散性；鉴定了情报科学的核心期刊，并测定了半衰期。作者通过对一种期刊进行引文分析，进而探讨了情报科学期刊及学科的发展。
The authors carried out a statistical calculation ot the citation in the Journal of the China Society for Scientific and Technical Intormation using the method of mathematical statistics while typifying their quantity, kind of language, class and age distribution and calculating the main mathematical expectations of CSSTI journal citation and the estimated interval of their difference in extremes. The law of normal distribution of the citation in the Journal is proved by checking with X2. The concentrated distribution in class and the discrete distribution in discipline of the documents quoted are described. The core periodicals in information science are identified and their half-lives determined.Through an analysis of the citation in this periodical, the author makes a further investigation of the development of the Journal and of information science as a discipline.
