作者从文献工作、数据库建设、情报研究和情报咨询服务四个方面，就目前情报业务改革中存在的问题谈了自己的看法，提出了建议，指出了改革的方向。

The author voices his own ideas about the existing problems in the reform of the present information profession from four aspects like documentation, database construction, information research as well as consultation and service, puts forward relevant suggestions and points out the direction of reform.
