Falsity, artificiality, non-emotionality and over-acting remain the dominant abuses in performing practice at present. The supreme realm for performing art is complete likeness in which the actors play their parts. An actor has to be enthusiastic and good at understanding in order to embody the world of his role. By means of the figures portrayed by him, a performer fulfils the linkup of the spirits between the audience and himself. An actor ought to maintain a spirit excited by art. He must make his spirit and his roles as one. He embodies his character by his movement. Only true performing can excite the audience. The truth in performance does not equal that in life. A performer should control his developing of feelngs with a sense of propriety. The charm of acting results from its particularity. Only on the foundation of hard training and long-term practice, can an actor portray characters absolutely realistically. The highist goal for an actor to pursue is 'to play absolutely realistically whatever the parts'.
