The art designing work plays a more important role in history films than in others. The two authors took a conversation on art de- signing work in 'The Epoch-Making Event'. Their disussion was concerned with substuition in on-the-spot shooting, the lifelike re- ality of history, color treatment and the integration of sketchy and reality in setting.
