汉英语码转换的句法变异问题探索——基于树库的动词句法配价分析

The Syntactic Variation in Chinese-English Code-switching: An Analysis of Verbs' Syntactic Valency Based on a Treebank

本研究以句法和认知的双重视角考察汉英语码转换的句法变异并揭示动词在真实汉英混杂话语中的句法及认知功能。研究采用经过依存语法标注的汉英语码转换语料库(依存树库),测量动词的句法配价以及它们所支配句法关系的依存距离。研究发现:汉语动词和英语动词支配不同词类形成的主语、宾语和状语关系在两类依存(单语依存和混杂依存)中的分布及依存距离存在差异。研究表明:在汉英语码转换中,动词所支配的主要依存关系存在句法变异,混杂依存关系的加工难度大于相应的单语依存。

This study explores the syntactic variation in Chinese-English code-switching and displays the verbs＇ syntactic and cognitive functions in authentic Chinese- English mixed discourses from the syntactic and cognitive perspective. The dependency annotated corpus （the dependency treebank） was developed to investigate the verbs＇ syntactic valency and the dependency distances of syntactic relations headed by verbs. It was found that there exist differences in distributions and dependency distances of the subjects, objects and adverbials consisting of verbs and their headed word classes between two types of de- pendencies （monolingual and mixed dependencies）. The study indicates that in Chinese-English code-switching, there is syntactic variation of the main dependencies head- ed by verbs, and the processing difficulty of the mixed dependencies is bigger than that of the corresponding monolingual ones.
