毛泽东美学思想是其哲学思想的有机组成部分。它结合了辩证唯物主义和历史唯物主义的世界观、方法论,体现了美的事物与社会发展规律、社会实践中的前进要求和人类的进步理想的和谐统一,体现了毛泽东的人生境界、哲学境界和艺术境界的和谐统一,毛泽东美学思想的和谐内涵表现为:美学价值与伦理价值相统一;审美实践与政治实践的统一;审美气质和审美志趣相统一。

Mao Zedong＇s aesthetic ideology, one of the organic parts of his philosophy, combines the worldview and methodology in both Dialectical Materialism and Historical Materialism. It reflects harmo- nious unions of not only between beautiful things and the law of social development, the requirement for advance in social practices and human being＇s progressive ideas, but also between Mao Zedong＇s realms of life, philosophy and his artistic realm. The harmonious connotation of Mao Zedong＇s thought mainly per- forms the unified idea of the aesthetic value with ethical value, the aesthetic practice with political prac- tice, and the aesthetic quality with aesthetic inclination.
