蔡元培和陈独秀在1917年《新青年》上的通信看起来是纠正前刊演讲词的错误,实际是另一次精心设计的"双簧信"。以此为契机,《新青年》不仅再次强化其科学主义姿态,而且也改变了前期对宗教基本认同的态度。这次"双簧信",将有关宗教文化的讨论引向深层的自然科学和精神科学的关系问题,对此深入分析,可以一窥新文化建设的结构特征和价值取向。

The letters of Cai Yuanpei and Chen Duxiu published on NEW YOUTH magazine in 1917 seems to be correct mistakes in Cai＇s forth speech,is another elaborate＂looks like letters＂.
